One of the worthy organizations Golden Triangle Rotary and Southlake Rotary clubs have partnered with this year is Serving Our Seniors. This wonderful non-profit organization provides Help, Hope, and Healing to senior residents in the community. Some of the services they provide include minor home repairs, wheelchair ramps, adopt-a-lawn, transportation for medical appointments, and a vast social network for seniors to connect with others each month through social events, phone-a-friend programs, and more.
The Golden Triangle Rotary Club members adopted a lawn last summer for a resident needing help mowing. And they will tell you as Rotarians, they got more from the experience than anyone else! Filling your heart with acts of service shines a light on the world in a different way.
