Rotarian Keith Kithsiri reported on the Prandahara Community Drinking Water Project in India at our June 13th meeting. Making life better for over 60,000 people.

Southlake RC partnered with Colleyville RC, Grapevine RC, and Calcutta RC (in India) for a Community Drinking Water Project in India

The project provided purified drinking water for rural villages in South Bengal in India. The new water system provides 80,000 liters of purified drinking water per day, serving 10 South Bengal villages with a total population in excess of 60,000. Total project costs were funded by The Rotary Foundation and the Rotary Clubs of Colleyville, Grapevine, Southlake, and Calcutta RC (in India).

We were pleased to see that our partnership with Collegeville Rotary and Grapevine Rotary has resulted in providing clean water to a wonderful community in India.

We can’t wait to do more.
