The Southlake Rotary is proud to have as our first ever Business Spotlight: Bill Tait of State Farm Insurance located at 503 W. Southlake Blvd Southlake, TX.
Bill has been in the insurance industry for over 25 year. However, 5 years ago Bill and his beautiful family joined the Southlake community with State Farm. Since then, Bill has become a staple of our community with his cowboy hat and amazing attitude.
One of his passions is giving his Time, Talent and Treasure to organizations that he feels passionate about. He’s been instrumental in putting together fundraising events for Metroport Meals on Wheels such as Party On the Peninsula. He also spends time volunteering with ProPlayers and his lottery ticket basket is always a hit at the gala for GRACE.
Bill is also very active in Southlake Chamber of Commerce. He heads up the volunteer opportunities for Oktoberfest, is a Co-Chair for Leadership Southlake and is part of the Ambassador Program. He is a great example of you get out what you put in.
His dream is to start a non profit for to help first responders called Southlake First Responders Foundation.
When asked about life changing moments he spoke about the time that he told his dad that he didn’t think that he more in him to give his community or organizations his dad said to him “You have more to give. Enter into things for the right reason and passion will keep you going.”
