On Friday, June 28th we passed the gavel of the President to Sean M. Cerone DDS, PA.

Meet Sean!

Sean Cerone was a founding member of the Southlake Rotary Club.  This will be his 2nd term as Club President.  He has also served the club as Secretary and Sergeant at Arms.  In addition to leading the Dictionary Project Southlake Rotary coordinates with Carroll ISD, Sean spearheads the District Grant application for that project, and organizes the annual Salvation Army bell ringing day and the Keep Southlake Beautiful quarterly trash collection.

This year, Sean and his family will participate in hosting a youth exchange student from Brazil for part of the year.  Sean is a Paul Harris fellow and enjoys the close ties Southlake Rotary has with the Southlake community.

Professionally, Dr. Cerone is a dentist and has practiced in Southlake since 1996.  He has two office locations in Southlake, and is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association and Ft. Worth District Dental Society.  For the past 15 years, Dr. Cerone has proudly participated in the Save-A-Smile program, and annually screens elementary children in a Tarrant Co school for dental problems, and then provides treatment for some of these students in his office.

Dr. Cerone has been a Grapevine resident since 1996.  He has been married to his wife, Christine, for 26 years, and she is a pharmacist and has worked for Baylor Scott & White for almost 30 years.  They have two daughters, one which will be a senior at Ursuline Academy in Dallas, and one which will be a sophomore at Princeton University in NJ, where she plays soccer for the Princeton Tigers.  In his free time, in addition to participating in Rotary projects, Dr. Cerone enjoys travel and skiing.
