We heard from Charlie Brim at our last meeting, a volunteer and trained speaker for the Suicide & Crisis Center of North Texas. This organization does incredible work in our community. On average, they serve 1,500 people per month who call to speak with a trained, caring counselor. They also offer a support group program for families and friends who have lost a loved one to suicide. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. You are not alone.
Join us to learn more about this invaluable service to people in crisis. The possibility that you or someone close to you might someday need their help is sadly greater than you may think.
